ÉHONTÉ

Collector Policies

A NOTE FROM THE ATELIER

Every ÉHONTÉ Form is handcrafted in my atelier and produced in strictly limited editions.

These are not mass-produced accessories. They are collectible objects created through an ongoing Study of identity, form, and human behavior.

Every Form carries evidence of its making. Small variations, subtle tool marks, and natural differences are not imperfections. They are proof that your piece was shaped by hand and make every Form uniquely yours.

By purchasing a Form, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.

THE NATURE OF A FORM

Each ÉHONTÉ Form is individually handcrafted from start to finish.

Because every piece is made by hand, slight variations in texture, finish, oxidation, polishing, dimensions, and overall character should be expected. These differences are a natural result of the making process and are part of what makes each Form unique.

Forms are designed to be worn, collected, and lived with. Like all handcrafted objects, they will develop character over time through use.

Every Form should be treated as a wearable work of art.

LIMITED EDITIONS

Every Form belongs to an ongoing Study.

Each Study produces a strictly limited number of Forms.

Once an edition has been completed, that Form will not be reproduced in its original edition.

The Study continues.

The Form does not.

MADE IN THE ATELIER

Every Form is handcrafted in my atelier after your order has been confirmed unless otherwise stated.

Production begins specifically for you.

You'll receive updates throughout the process, including when your Form:

• Enters production

• Is completed

• Is prepared for shipment

Because every Form is individually handcrafted, production times may vary.

I believe thoughtful work deserves thoughtful time.

SHIPPING

Once your Form has been completed, it will be carefully packaged and prepared for shipment.

Tracking information will be provided once your order leaves the atelier.

ÉHONTÉ is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, customs processing, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

International collectors are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees required by their country.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

A Form is not created to be perfect.

It is created to carry evidence of its maker.

It belongs to an ongoing Study.

Thank you for becoming part of it.

A few things I'd still add as you grow

To make this even more robust, I'd eventually include:

Production timeframe (e.g. estimated 2–6 weeks, subject to variation).

Ring sizing policy (clarify responsibility and whether resizing is offered).

Lost or stolen packages (what happens after proof of delivery).

Address changes (up until dispatch only).

Custom commissions (if you ever offer them, they're typically non-refundable once work begins).

Warranty (if you decide to guarantee craftsmanship for a certain period).

Those additions don't just protect the atelier—they also reinforce that collectors are purchasing handcrafted works made with intention, not products from a warehouse.

CANCELLATIONS

Production begins specifically for each collector.

Orders may only be cancelled before production has begun.

Once your Form has entered production, cancellations are no longer possible.

If you need to request a cancellation, please contact the atelier as soon as possible.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Due to the handcrafted, made-to-order, and limited nature of every Form, all sales are considered final.

Returns or exchanges cannot be accepted for:

• Change of mind

• Incorrect sizing selected at checkout

• Natural handmade variations

• Normal wear acquired through use

If your Form arrives with a manufacturing defect or has been damaged during production, please contact the atelier within 7 days of delivery with photographs of both the Form and its packaging.

Every request will be reviewed individually.

PRIVATE SPLIT PAYMENTS

Collectors who choose to split payment directly with ÉHONTÉ instead of using Klarna or Afterpay may do so upon approval.

The initial payment serves as a deposit to reserve your edition and begin production.

Production will commence after the deposit has been received.

Your Form will remain at the atelier until the remaining balance has been paid in full.

Once full payment has been received, your Form will be carefully packaged and shipped.

If the remaining balance is not paid within the agreed timeframe, ÉHONTÉ reserves the right to pause production, cancel the reservation, or retain the deposit to cover work already completed. Any exceptions remain at the sole discretion of ÉHONTÉ.

PRODUCT CARE

Every Form is designed to accompany you through everyday life, but it should always be treated with care.

To preserve its condition:

• Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals.

• Remove your Form before swimming, exercising, or heavy manual work.

• Store your Form separately to minimize scratching.

• Clean occasionally with a soft jewelry polishing cloth.

Over time, your Form may develop a natural patina that reflects how it has been worn and lived with. This is part of its story.

REPAIRS

Should your Form require repair due to normal wear, please contact the atelier.

Where possible, repair services will be offered. Fees may apply depending on the nature of the repair and whether the damage resulted from normal wear, accidental damage, or misuse.

LIABILITY

ÉHONTÉ is not responsible for damage resulting Including but not limited to from misuse, accidental impact, lack of soud judgement improper storage, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow the recommended care instructions. each piece should be treated like wearable art,.
